What is “The LBL”?

“The LBL” = The Live Blastocyst Library. It’s a collection of images of embryos/blastocysts which resulted in live births. All stages of blastocyst development welcome.
The library will go live as soon as I receive a submission, at which stage I will post a link.
How to Participate
You know how it feels to be in the trenches wondering…”Will my embryos make the cut?” You’ve been there, you know the ever pressing weight of that question.
By donating the images of your embryos, which resulted in live birth, you give hope to so many still trying by giving them something (albeit only a picture) to guide their decision making towards further treatment.
Simply mail the images to hi @ invivo .co .za (remove the spaces) Please include images of as many days as possible.
Also include a short description of your history and diagnosis i.e.
My Story: Freetext
My Diagnosis: Male = None, Female = PCOS
Transfer: Day 5
Treatments Used to Conceive: IVF
Clinic Credit: Name of Clinic
I hope to build up this library over time and I’m sure that many will benefit from its use.
Please note that your submission will be held in the highest of confidence and that personal information will never be divulged without your prior written consent. Your submission will thus be completely anonymous.
Can’t wait to add you to the database!

Invivo Notes:
To those of you wo don’t know much about embryology, note the lovely cavity on the blast second from the left , also note the thin membrane and well differentiated inner cell mass. This would most likely have been the successful candidate.
It’s textbook, like this one on Dr. Licciardi’s blog
